At Høgsetra, you have Turufjell's most fantastic location with the ski slope as your closest neighbor. Right between the alpine slope and the cross-country trails, you can simply put on your skis after breakfast and glide straight onto the slopes. No packing, driving, or searching for parking – just you and the ski slope. You can zoom down freshly groomed slopes, practice new tricks, or search for untouched lines outside the slopes during a summit tour.
Culinary Delights
When hunger or thirst strikes, head to Kristin at Turufjell Café, right in the heart of Turufjell. A cozy and lively gathering spot for both cabin guests and visitors. In the café and tipi, you can enjoy some delicious food or drinks, and there is plenty of space for the many activities held throughout the year. As Kristin says: "We aim to be the natural gathering place in Hallingdal, and everyone is welcome here." Just 15 minutes away, Flå center offers a shopping center, wine monopoly, restaurants, hotels, and the popular Bear Park. Everything is set for enjoying the good cabin life.

The Bear Park
15 minutes from Turufjell you can visit the Bear Park in Flå; an exciting wildlife park that attracts visitors from the whole country. The park is known for its focus on Norwegian predators, in particular bears, wolves, and lynx. Why not join the pet care school, go inside the bear's den, feed the moose with carrots, and befriend the foxes. The park is also home to many other animals, including amur leopard, reindeers, goats, crocodiles and many more.
Trail Nirvana
The pump track and skill park built by Stiteknikk have already become favorites among visitors to Turufjell, and in the summer of 2023, we were introduced to an exciting flow trail that quickly became very popular. Turufjell offers a variety of fantastic trails that are constantly being developed. You can enjoy wonderful hiking and biking adventures from Turufjell to Veneli and further to Vassfaret. Our passion for nature and outdoor activities is driven by the desire to share these amazing experiences with you.
