If you want to experience a fantastic view of the area, the popular peaks Høgevarde, Ranten and Skogshorn are highly recommended. Here you can experience the mountains from their most colorful side on foot in summer and autumn. In winter and early spring, you can hike up the peaks on skis to experience the magical fairy tale landscape.

If you're the type who likes to hike, Norefjell has plenty of great hiking trails that are suitable for all ages regardless of the season. The trails vary in length and difficulty level, taking you through beautiful forests, lakes, and mountain landscapes. Among the most popular are the round trip around Krøderen and the hike to Høgevarde.
